I would like to find more details about this… Some people seem to think its fake, but I doubt it.
Experimenting With The Korg Kaossilator: #3
by admin on Sep.25, 2009, under Uncategorized
This time; in German!?
YouTube via LustigAkustik
“Hier mein erster Versuch, dem Korg Kaossilator Klänge zu entlocken. Hab mich noch nicht ganz durchgehört, aus dem Grund sind ein paar Stellen konfus geraten. Entschuldigt meine hässlichen Finger.”
“This is my first attempt, the Korg Kaossilator to elicit sounds. Do I have not quite durchgehört, on the grounds are a few bodies being confused. Apologies my ugly finger.”
“düren music musik korg kaossilator usbest us-best electro minimal synthesizer ambient”
And also:
YouTube via LustigAkustik
“Die Sounds von einem alten SK-1, veredelt mit Garage-Bands eigenen Effekten. Ein Roland S-330 sowie ein paar Apple-Loops sind auch vorhanden. Nicht zu vergessen den Korg Kaossilator. Trotz fehlendem MIDI-Sync läuft die kleine Tischhupe erstaunlich tight. enjoy!”
“The sounds of an old SK-1, finishing with garage bands own effects. A Roland S-330 and a few Apple Loops are also available. Not to forget the Korg Kaossilator. Despite missing MIDI Sync runs a small table horn surprisingly tight. Enjoy!”

So, since my last post about the Korg Kaossilator and the short demo track I finished, there has been a full-length album put up for free that uses only the Korg Kaossilator (and Ableton Live for recording).

Animus (polar) and Harvester Mantra
by admin on Sep.25, 2009, under Uncategorized
I play in a metal band… We like to be loud, obnoxious, and cranking our mesa boogie dual rectifiers. With that said… sometimes after my ears bleed enough, I need to work on something a little less intense.
Here are two low-key ambient tracks I am working on for an upcoming art documentary:
Animus (polar)
and
Harvester Mantra
Feel free to comment; these are works in progress…
From Exile up until 2009

Since most of my work in the last couple years has been devoted to this band, I wanted to drop one heavy mega-post of content to get it out of the way;
First of all, our 2006 release is available for free download on our website, www.fromexile.com. We recorded it with the great Anthony Stubelek at his studio in Bruswick, GA. It was an awesome experience and although the record is almost 2 years old now, we are still very proud of it.
Here are some live videos;
Masquerade Oct. 5 2006
Masquerade Feb. 17 2007
Here is a clip of an acoustic set we did for Home Park Fest 2007:
Currently, we are recording a follow up EP with Eyal Levi (DAATH, Arsis), due in Summer.
Here is an original remix of an instrumental track off Crushing Reality:
Download the mp3 of “Phantom (illumination)” here
I can’t wait to finish this next recording, as it is a significant progression musically from our old material… It is almost like an entirely new band.
Check the From Exile Myspace or join the From Exile mailing list for regular show updates.
